Lenten Services

On March 1st we begin the journey to the cross of Christ again during Lent.  A special six-week series of Wednesday evening services will be conducted, "Standing at the Cross," as we look at various statements of Martin Luther applied to the suffering and death of Christ.  Pastor Greg Lenz of Resurrection Lutheran and Pastor Cary Larson of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Waseca will exchange pulpits alternating weeks.  On Ash Wednesday the imposition of ashes will be offered at 7:00pm followed by a Communion service.  Soup Suppers are served each week at 6:00pm.  All are welcome to experience the blessings of Lent at our church.

Reformation 500

2017 marks the 500th anniversary of the Reformation started by Martin Luther in Germany.  Along with many Christians around the world, our church will be sponsoring some educational events to learn what the lasting legacy of the Lutheran Reformation is.  During the six weeks of Lent, our Sunday morning adult Bible class will go through Luther's Large Catechism in contemporary translation with discussion questions on the basic Christian doctrines he expounded.  Join us at 11:00am.
